We are making all forms of communication mobile, not just voice, so that our customers can take advantage of access to the internet wherever they are. We have built Britain's biggest mobile broadband network which already covers over 91 percent of the UK population and will reach more than 98 percent by the end of 2010. We are building something scalable that can handle whatever people want to use it for. That's why we are revolutionising pricing. There is enormous demand for mobile services at a fair price just waiting to be met. Today, mobile services are expensive and that discourages people from using them to the full. We believe mobile should be priced like the internet – our network is based on internet technology after all.

So why not charge a subscription? A flat rate service to use as much as you like. That will kick-start the market. That's why we also support Government moves to bring down hidden mobile costs that block progress.
